Clan Application: Stoney Rivers

I stumbled into this server after reading the very attractive name. I have recently been looking for a group of fellow tree smokers who also share my addiction to COD:BO to play with, rather than by my lonesome.

My story starts when Battlefield: 1942 came out. Once i got a taste of the FPS action, i was addicted. My Game of choice is now COD:BO although i do sometimes still play BF:BC. But on to the more specific info:

Sounds like you share our passion of buds and gaming *lol* Unfortunately I've been having to deprive myself of guanga until I take this piss test. That is if I actually end up taking the job. I sell enterprise software to the public sector.

If you don't mind the fact that we're an older clan, most of us 40+ years old, perhaps you wouldn't mind hanging with us. Age is just a number and its really more about your maturity level. You don't come across as young. Perhaps the best thing would be to jump on our vent server with us and see if you mesh or not. We're all pretty laid back, no worries on trying to impress anyone. We like to think of ourselves as a positive influence on the younger generation *lol* Ever use Ventrilo before?

The age is no matter, in fact sometimes i hate my own age group so maturity would be great.
I have used vent back in my CS:Source days but ill have to get it again.
My internet sometimes feels the need to fuck my life over- so sometimes it wont let me join your server, but i will as much as possible and i hope to speak with you all soon, thanks for the warm welcome feelings =]

Yup, if I take this job, I need to wiz in the bottle (I guess thats the test they're using) before December 31st. I'll be 3 1/2 clean by then, should be ok since I don't have a lot of body fat.

I share your pain on sketchy internet service, which is one of the main motivational factors for putting a server up as close to home as possible. Often it doesn't do a lot of good because of inconsistent bandwidth. Its a real bitch trying to play when my ping is fluxuating from 50 to 350.
