Who's playing the Beta for BC2?

What do you think?My friend said the first day was ruff,but is digging the game now.

I am downloading now. Sitting here eagerly with my beta key. I am getting pretty excited for it...

sorry for bailing on bc2 azz yesterday, it really frustrates me

What frustrates you about the game? The underpowered weapons? Or other things?

underpowered guns, i had the medic lmg put half a clip (approx 40 rds into a guy and he didnt die), tank whores, generally i find it boring. dont get me wrong i'm gunna buy it cause i think the 4 v 4 will be fast and hectic. get a good squad together and you will own. minimum will be assault to resupply ammo, 2 medics to keep us alive and the other guy can can be what he wants. good thing is you can pick up their kit so when a medic goes down pick hios kit up res and keep on going

I agree... The underpowered weapons are the biggest thing. Also that you can't prone. Its very frustrating when you have the drop on someone so start shooting them then as your still pumping your clip into them they turn around and take you down in an instant.

The tank whores wouldn't be so bad if the explosives would do anything to hurt the tank at all too... You can hit a tank a good 4 or 5 times without the tank even smoking. Until I am the one in the tank then it takes 3 shots and I'm dead...

Always taken me 2 rpgs to take 1 down.

I average 4 per tank.

Which is bullshit considering how many it takes to kill the tank I am in (2 sometimes 3)

Basically its a really good game except for the complete unbalanced and chronically underpowered (Even in Hardcore mode) weapons.

Then there is the Heli, It is soooo damn hard to hit. And the noobs, They all sit in tanks or way back and snipe for the whole map. And I am kinda getting over playing the same map OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.

Yeah the Heli I've yet been able to hit yet.

As for the idiots who on are your team who take tanks, and don't do jack shit with them, do what I do....

I have managed to hit the Chopper in a AA gun but not with an RPG...

I finally got a beta key and downloaded the demo. How do I find anyone? I haven't installed it yet. Or do you guys just hook up on Vent and find each other that way?

Yeah the friends area of the Beta doesn't work properly. We just normally jump on Vent and pick a server....

It does show that your playing BC2 Beta in Xfire but not what server your in as yet...

Maybe I need to play this game more, but so far I'm not that impressed. Its not really the type of gameplay I prefer, as I'm not really into tactical team gameplay. Its hard for me to get around the map without getting constantly sniped by someone. The sounds in the game are pretty nice!

The graphics are awesome too... Though I am running on Everything MAXXED!!

I think its just a matter of us needing to be on at the same time as some other people so we can squad up and have some fun...

Probably the best thing to do is the Aussie's focus on recruiting peeps on at the times that you're gaming, and we in U.S. will recruit during our playing time. That way we should be able to have enough peeps for around the clock traffic. Or close to it.

Yep. I have been keeping my eyes out but the server traffic on the Aussie servers at the moment is all over the place. There are heaps of Sydney servers and only a few of them get full at any one time...
