COD5 Server Donations

If we want to put a COD5 server up, we have a few options. We can either take donations to collect $18 a month for 12 player slots. Or we can convert one of the COD4 servers back over to COD5. Personally if it were up to me, I would convert the stock COD4 server over to X4, and take the current X4 server and convert it back to COD5. The stock server would be done away with.

Ramifications from doing this - server traffic will be low for awhile. However, considering that we've been running the stock server for a number of weeks now, it should be on some peeps favorites. They may come check it out. Regardless, if the server is played by enough peeps on a daily basis, it will develop traffic. Just look at what MistahT did with the Obsecurity server. He put that mod up and peeps started coming out of the woodworks to play it.

A few of those people who play on his server I've seen on other obs servers, they probably just go to each one running the mod to see which is best, and since he has most/all of the maps in the rotation, they love it.

Pity the Obs server went down. I miss my scrims with MistahT and Panzer

if they had OBS on CoD5 that would be even better... lol

They tried Obs on cod 5 but there was too many glitches with the game and invisible walls so the obs couldn't jump.

I would be down with that.
