Honestly I think the only reason I play this game still and like others, is because its new, most people are use to playing CoD4 for years or Halo (my god I suck at halo so bad).

When i come home from work lately all i have wanted to play is bc2.

Getting too hard for me to find a decent FFA WaW server with peeps on it and a decent ping. Most of the time I'm in the 150+ range.

the server still up, no one on there though.

Oh poor thing Antares... Us Aussies only play on a 200 Ping on our clan servers. I just hope we are able to play on the BC2 server once its up...

Gotta remember that the U.S. is way behind western europe and australia in broadband technology. Your broadband is far superior to what we have. A 200 ping is nothing for you. I would imagine that your performance at 200 ping is like mine at say 100. For me, 200 ping is pretty much unplayable. Massive lag and stuttering. Also remember that my broadband is 1MB down, 512k up, its a line of sight wireless system, and that I'm playing on what is now an old computer.

I'm not sure why the server has stayed up as long as it has. We certainly didn't pay for another month. I would imagine that it will turn off any day now.

So after playing Search and Destroy the past few nights (I actually enjoy it now, you rank up really quick if you do well ), I learn a few things....

1) Americans are the worse fucking players in the history of the world to play S&D.

2) Brits/Aussies are better, even when Im playing off of their host with a 2 bar connection, I have more fun, as no one fucking camps, rounds go by quick, people are moving, but the god damn second your in a lobby full of Americans....its fucking mind boggling to me, how the only way people think they can defend a objective is to fucking camp the shit out of it. Also the fact that all the kwel kids who use modded controllers or a aimbot (yesh, we have aimbots, never seen one till about 10 mins ago).

Fuck bush, fuck obama, fuck Palin for having to write her speech on her hand and try to wipe if off or play it off on live TV, whatagoddamndumbitch, and Ima call it, she'll either be our next president, or will be after obama wins his 2nd term.

Guys should give it a try, more so if your all on the same team, use work like it , most people do camp in Search, and if your a rusher, you'll either kickass or do shit.

Pro Tip: I hate boosting and all, but you may want to run Sitrep pro instead of ninja pro, as claymores and random C4 camping will piss you off, Just get into a cage match and get the 120 req, I really don't know how people can actually get Sitrep pro legit, as I've never seen anyone run it, only normal Sitrep.

And so people know what it does...

SitRep will highlight any and all enemy Equipment with a bright red overlay from a very long distance.
SitRep Pro does several things:
Multiplies the volume of enemy footsteps by 4x.
Multiplies the volume of the player and his allies' footsteps by 0.25x.
This allows the one with SitRep Pro to more clearly make out the enemy footsteps.
SitRep Pro does not make the player's footsteps quieter to the enemy, only to himself.

SitRep Pro and Ninja Pro do work against each other, but Ninja has the advantage.

(I don't know about PC, but every mother fucker on this console likes to NOT use ninja pro, thus I die a lot when I am by myself and some asshat teammate comes up to me and blows it)

Or....

Scrambler will begin to take effect at 800 inches from an enemy. Their radar will be completely snowed at 300 inches.
Scrambler Pro will delay claymore detonation for 3 seconds.

Problem with this, scrambler is a dead give away, so probably not wise unless your playing against idiots or HC (just make sure you have counter uav to block it, as people do spam killstreaks at the start of the round)

Some nights I'll do throwing knife only, no matter what, and we were playing DOM on skidrow, other team getting their asses beat, there was this one asshat with a noob tube/scav, for some reason, he was the only fucker I could never kill, always naded me, after I had finally got a knife on him, he left, a few mins later he sends me a message saying how trash I was. I couldn't stop laughing, my reply was....

"Ahhh, this is coming from the guy who did NOT do one thing to help his team cap flag and hold it, you leave the game and call me trash?"

Now on xbl, I like to make my message have proper spelling and gramer, this way it pisses people off (Seriously, people either are too lazy to finish a word or.....god I hope its just that, laziness).

Never got a reply back, and its always like that, had 1 camper sniper in a DOM game 1 day said I was the reason why MW2 sucks (he was camping in his spawn with a Silence M21, we had ALL 3 flags cap), which is funny because I only killed him once while he killed me about 5 times in a row, (got pissed and just had a awesome well place nade toob across the map to his little room), I reply telling him the game is DOM, not TDM, camping your ass off in your spawn without helping your team cap a flag, even your own damn spawn flag, is what ruins this game, people like you, not me, you.

I <3 little kids who play objective games for K/D, theres a reason why we have TDM/Merc TDM/FFA, search is a little of both so XD.
