Whose Buying the Game?
So whose planning on checking out this game? I'm going to hold off unless you guys say its good. I can't afford to dish out $$$$ on questionable games right now.

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
Out of pure boredom, I decided to break down and buy this game this morning. I'm not expecting much but maybe it will be worth a month's worth of entertainment at $60.
Who else has it?

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
I bought it as well. It can't be any worse than the others. I'm 2 hours into it. There are some interesting maps and some recycled. More later....

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
There are some different games modes, like sector control/team assualt/combat. It will tie me over till Black Ops. There are dedicated servers as well.

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
I've played about 2-3 hours and overall its not bad. Hopefully some issues will be fixed which I'm sure they will. I'll get $60 worth of entertainment out of it over the next month. If they provide some decent support and additional maps over the next few months, it might turn out to be a pretty decent game.

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
Defintely. I'm enjoying it more and more as I play it and learn the maps and the general tactics. It has a bit of steep learning curve and requires a little patience. The hit boxes need to be fixed in particular but I think they'll get that worked out. As I said above, its entertaining enough to keep me interested for a little while. I'm liking the HC mode better of course.

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
so just spent 3 hours playing it in mixed mode, plenty of maps, nice change up with being able to play different modes without jumping out of a game. cant blow shit up like bc2 though. but i got a shitload of tomahawk kills already.

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
I'm having a hard time getting the hatchet and knife kills, not because of bugs but because its hard getting that close to someone. The hatchet are pretty cool!
I've just been playing the Team Assault (TDM) mode, haven't tried the other ones yet.
They haven't fixed the server browser yet but you can still get it working. I got mine working on Day 1. If yours isn't working, try setting up the server Filters, and then giving it 30 seconds or so after its done refreshing. The servers should start popping up. I've set my region to North America and I've heard that often that helps bring up serves, compared to the other regions.
Aside from that issue and the hit box issues, I don't think there are as many issues with this game as there was with BC2.

Re: Whose Buying the Game?
I had no problems setting up my server filters, but remember we got it 2 days after you guys. I did have a couple of drop outs though. i dont have any trouble getting in close just run around the back or upstairs and its a butchers heaven, best streak is 5 hatchet kills in a row..
