I got a few hatchet kills today. Its pretty funny actually, especially if you turn the Dialog up in the game all the way. You get a lot more battle chatter going on thats pretty good. That is if you like that kind of stuff.

Heh Troopy, was that you playing as OBigTroopy? You were on a server I was on. I'm playing under Hockster right now, as I couldn't get my name or anything close to it that I wanted.

Feel free to add me as a friend - Hockster.

Yes, the hitboxes and damage rates need to be tweaked a bit. Even HC isn't really HC.

I moved my gaming rig to the living room and am gaming on a 50" plasma and good surround system. The sound is awesome in this game. I'll have to throw on some headphones and get on Vent.

Did you play the beta? If not, be prepared for some pretty fast paced and brutal play. There is a learning curve here and just stick with it, you'll figure out how to be successful against the sniping/camping etc. Its not too difficult once you learn the maps and the favorite sniper spots and the choke points on the maps.

Yeah ant that was me, i just got back yesterday from being away with work yuk, my misses picked up the game for me and set it up, so just played last night for the first time, sorry i didnt see your name, trying not to get spawn killed, seems like some guys have already figured out the spawn areas, kept spawning in same spot alot and the same guy shot me 5 times in a row couldnt even move, that happened quiet a few times,
there seems to be a new patch already, but wont install on my game because mine is aus version and doesn't seem to be a patch,

The spawn/base raping is pretty bad. What works best for me is running the moment I spawn. I can usually get away from the one shot fuckers trying to pad their score. Whatever happened to good gamemship and ethics these days. Pretty sad really.

I typed a few messages on the screen last night however you didn't respond. I'm playing under Hockster this game.

What a great wife, she picks up the game and loads it for you. Wow! I don't think a lot of married men can say that. Hang on to that one! :-)

Mine wouldn't update either. I kept getting the message that their was a newer version. What I did was let the game run, went to the desk top and found the mohmpupdater.exe file in the MP folder inside the Activision folder. I ran it, it asked me to stop running MOH which I did, then it finished updating with no problem. That may work for you as well.

Being that I never played MW2, what do you guys think of this game compared to that? I know you haven't played MOH for long, but your overall impression so far.

Man sorry ant i didnt see the messages on screen to buisy dieing, it dosen't seem to much different from the beta version, still takes alot to die,and still seems arcadey, and lol snipers once again, sad to say but the game play in mw2 i think is better, all the shit aside, but if we had dedicated servers for mw2 it would be good, but will give moh a fair go.
once again im sorry for not responding honestly didnt see messages just paying attention to game.

Yeah the base raping/camping/sniping is a little annoying at times. I usually switch to misson combat mode then, I find it's not as bad most of the time. I have played against a couple of people who have to have hacks for the game. One guy went 44-0 one game and followed that up with a 56-1 game. Naturally, I wasn't on his team!! Those games were about just trying to save ALIVE! I was 3-21 and 4-26 for those same matches. My game updated with no problem. I was even a little surprised that there was an update so soon.

It really surprises me that people find it entertaining for any period of time playing with hacks? Where is the satisfaction of actually EARNING a kill? I can see it as a novelty for 5 minutes or so, but I would imagine I'd get bored pretty darn quick after that. Perhaps its the joy these fuckwads get ruining other people's experiences.

It wouldn't be hard to move some spawn spots on the maps to help avoid the base raping. Perhaps they'll do that. It will be interesting to see what kind of support this game receives.

It's something I can deal with. As long as you run right away when spawned. I'm off to add to my kills now...

ok guys, how do we think of moh now, have to say its getting alot more bc2 day by day, only 4 maps again and playing them twice, also the snipers are out in full again just like bc2, not to mention a shit load of spawn camping, and useing a full clip to kill dudes.
